Introductions
Justin welcomed ALL of the new attendees, introduced FOSSACT, explained what it's all about and trying to achieve, sponsorships and upcoming events.
Sorry for changing the date at such short notice, still we had about 15 people rock up, mainly new which was great.

Presentation
Pia Waugh presented FOSS in Business: Tips and tricks for growing the pie (pdf)
Covering such topics as:
- Messaging and marketing
- Industry and community, and
- How to grow the pie
An excellent presentation (I kicked myself for not having recorded at least the audio to share with you all).
Pia suggested that a future FOSSACT meeting be a "tender writing workshop" to RFT-enable FOSS businesses - great idea Pia and one I hope to see implemented.
Thanks!
A big thanks to Pia and welcome to all the new FOSSACT attendees. It is amazing just how active Pia is in the community & life in general, so taking time out to speak to the group is much appreciated, thanks Pia!
